Kenya Seed Company Limited

Kenya Seed Company Limited (KSC) is a state corporation that produces and markets top quality certified seeds with an overall objective of adding value to the farming business and contributing to food self-sufficiency in Kenya and beyond. The Company was incorporated in Kenya on 2nd July 1956 to initially promote the use of improved strains of pasture seed developed by then , National Agricultural Research Station based in Kitale. Two years later KSC stated an enterprise to produce commercial sunflower for the European bird feed market in order to sustain its financial needs.
